Pamela attended the University of Waterloo, completing an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, prior to attending Dalhousie Law School, obtaining Bachelor of Laws Degree; and called to the Bar of Ontario in July 2009.
She completed Articles at a law firm in Cambridge, Ontario, and accepted an Associate’s position specializing in the areas of Criminal law, Civil Litigation, Estate Law as well as representing several Police Associations in matters involving the Police Services Act, Criminal Investigations and the SIU. In 2012, Pamela transitioned to the position of general counsel for the York Regional Police Association, advocating for the membership before boards of arbitration, human rights tribunals and professional disciplinary bodies. Specializing in police labour law, her scope of work includes grievances, interest arbitration, human rights, collective bargaining, workers' compensation, OIPRD/SIU issues and board governance. |
